Founded in June 2009 with the opening of Hotel Cumbres Puerto Varas, a stunning property nestled in a privileged location, Hoteles Cumbres stands tall as a national hotel chain renowned for its exceptional service and the extraordinary "Experiencia Cumbres" (Cumbres Experience).

In 2013, fueled by an investment plan of USD 80 million, the visionary decision was made to expand the Cumbres philosophy beyond Puerto Varas, resulting in the creation of the illustrious collection of Cumbres Hotels. This momentous expansion included the establishment of two strategically positioned hotels in Santiago and the acquisition of the prestigious Kunza Hotel & Spa in San Pedro de Atacama. Each hotel in the chain is meticulously named to reflect its geographical location: Hotel Cumbres Puerto Varas, Hotel Cumbres Lastarria, Hotel Cumbres San Pedro, and the DoubleTree by Hilton Santiago Kennedy property, which has been expertly managed as a franchise since December 2020.

This remarkable chain is operated by two esteemed Chilean investor companies and is led by the accomplished General Manager, Gastón Fernández, a seasoned professional revered in the tourism industry for his exceptional expertise and leadership.
